Opening Day

Opening Weekend and Throwback Pricing

The resort is scheduled to start off their 2015-2016 season on turkey day- gobble, gobble. What a terrific way to work up an appetite and have fun doing it. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is just getting warmed up opening day. There is plenty more in store for the weekend.

When was the last time you paid $6 to ski? Probably 1965. Flashback Friday, November 27th, lift tickets will cost the same as on opening day 50 years ago! It is not just lift tickets, but also lessons, rentals and scenic aerial tram rides. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will donate all the proceeds to four local non-profits that embody their four core values.

Grand Opening of Teton Lift

The celebration continues with a big present for everyone! Santa is coming early and bringing a new chairlift! Teton Lift is opening December 19th and gives skiers lift access to amazing terrain. Looking forward to skiing the new Crags intermediate run and the tree glades of the Moran Faces advanced run. No celebration at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is complete without fireworks! Powder Eights and Reunion Weekend

First weekend in February, 5th-7th, is Reunion Weekend for all past employees of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort! Discounted tickets and lodging for all former employees and fun events to relive the glory days. Powder Eights competition on Cody Bowl is making a comeback. This annual competition was a main event in the ’80s and early ’90s and we are looking forward to 2016’s edition. Pro and local ski pairs will have the chance to leave perfect figure-8 ski tracks in the pristine Powder 8 face of Cody Bowl. Don’t miss this fun spectating event!

Rendezvous Weekend

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will wrap up the season with Rendezvous Weekend. This annual tradition of three days of music across the valley is fun for all! Check out our blog on the 2015 festival.
