These complimentary tours are offered daily and are a fun way to get a lay of the land, so-to-speak. You will be thrilled that you did not miss this Jackson Hole Winter Activities.

Joining the Tour

To join the tours, just turn up at 9am at the Mountain Host Tour Sign in front of the Walk Festival Hall next to the aerial tram. The tours are geared towards intermediate skiers and requires one to be able to ski blue runs. They are a great resource to learn how to navigate the mountain. Learn how to connect the dots for all the lifts from north to south gaining elevation along the way. The tour ends at Sublette chairlift, an upper-mountain lift that accesses blue and black terrain only. Enjoy lots of good skiing on groomed runs along the way.

Making Friends on the Tour

Not only does the tour participants get to know the mountain, but they get a chance to meet some fellow skiers and a knowledgeable local. Many of our guests have enjoyed the social aspect of the tours just as much as the mountain knowledge. The mountain host tour guide will fill you in on their favorite place to grab a bite, a pint or that forgotten gear item. Spot the Sleeping Indian, learn the difference between Jackson and Jackson Hole and come away with some new friends all in one short morning of fun!
