Jackson Hole Specials- Spring Dining Deals

Another terrific winter wraps up in Jackson Hole and we move into off-season. Off season is that quiet time of year in Jackson Hole when the ski resorts close up, but summer has not come to the valley. This time of year brings great wildlife watching, road biking in the parks and dining specials! Here is Inn on the Creek’s guide to this spring’s off-season dining specials. The most popular special you will find at the many Jackson Hole restaurants is buy one entree, get the second free. Known to the local’s as the 2 for 1s, these are definitely everyone’s favorites. Here is a sampling of the restaurants offering this deal:

• Hatch Taqueria & Tequilas– Starting April 13th, enjoy any item on their menu including their delicious tacos for 2 for 1’s.
• The Blue Lion– May 10th- 25th will be offering 2 for 1 entrees on a selected menu including their world famous rack of lamb.
•  White Buffalo Club– 2 for 1 entrees and steaks through April 15th.
• Trio American Bistro– Offering either the 2 for 1 entrees special or if you are feeling lucky try your hand at spinning the wheel! Many different specials options are available including free appetizer, 20% off the bill or even just leave the tip!

The originator of the 2 for 1s, the Fine Dining Group now has a new twist to please diners as well as local non-profits. Their special is buy one entree, get the second one for $2 with the $2 going to a rotating local non-profit. This restaurant group includes many of our favorite spots- Rendezvous Bistro, The Kitchen, Bin 22, Osteria and Q Roadhouse.  This week’s non-profit is Jackson Hole Food Rescue. A special treat this off-season is offered at the Kitchen. Travel the world with a different worldly menu every few weeks with the Test Kitchen at the Kitchen.

Head over to your favorite local brew pub for their $10 Daily Specials and their $3 specialty pint. Snake River Brewery is open 11am -11pm with great $9 lunch specials, too. Enjoy a tasty, inexpensive meal on their deck.

One of our newest hotel neighbors, Hotel Jackson, has a terrific restaurant just around the corner. Figs‘ Mediterranean inspired menu has lots of fresh items with spring flavors. Figs is offering a $12 Lunch menu with $3 draft beers. Try their bison burger, house Reuben, flatbread pizza or salads.

Take an evening drive to spot wildlife and grab an amazing dinner at Calico Italian Restaurant. Their $20 Off-Season menu includes an appetizer and an entree with either a soup or salad.  There is something to please any Italian lover on their special off-season menu.
