Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real preforms September 4th, concluding the Jackson Hole Live Summer Concert Series. Starting at 4:30pm in the Snow King Ball Park, this concert will be a celebration of life for Luke Lynch and Stephen Adamson, two long time valley residents who died in an avalanche in May 2015. It will also be a fundraiser, with the proceeds to benefit Teton County Search and Rescue and Jenny Lake Rangers, the two organizations that aided in the rescue efforts. The show will kick off with a performance by Jackson’s own Canyon Kids.
Held September 9th through 20th, this festival attracts artists and art-lovers from across the globe. Featured events include Palates & Palettes Gallery Walk, Wild 100 Show and Sale at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, and the 20th Annual Jackson Hole Quick Draw on Town Square.
Every two years, Jackson Hole attracts media professionals, writers and conservationist for this 5 day festival. The prestigious film competition is the highlight of the week.
