Jackson Hole Bed and Breakfast Recipe Book- Ginger’s Snow Ice Cream

She came all the way from Arkansas to show us snow loving Jackson Hole folks at the Inn on the Creek, a Jackson Hole Bed and Breakfast, how to make snow ice cream.jackson-hole-bed-and-breakfast-snow-ice-cream
My first night meeting Ginger and Cecil at our Jackson Hole Bed and Breakfast was filled with great conversation during our social hour. Before they were calling it a night, Ginger asked me for a large spoon and something to put snow in. So, of course, I asked;”What are you going to do with the snow?” She replied with an obvious; “Make snow ice cream.” I was embarrassed to admit that I had never heard of snow ice cream. She assured me that I was missing out and headed out back to gather her main ingredient. A few minutes later Ginger with Cecil in tow had two pints filled with snow, as they mixed away the snow transformed into ice cream before my eyes! It was deliciously sweet and had the perfect consistency.
I was so thrilled that I immediately turned my thoughts to changing my daughter’s summer lemonade stand into a winter snow ice cream stand! (pretty much full profit, right?) Ingredients are everywhere!

Many thanks, to Ginger for introducing us to such a special treat and making memories with us at the Inn on the Creek in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
