Take a break from the usual holiday vacation evening of bars and restaurants and enjoy dinner and a show at the historic Jackson Hole Playhouse. The playhouse is one of the oldest buildings in Jackson Hole, going from stable, Ford Model T dealer to Post Office from 1915 to 1948. In 1948 it became a theatre and is now the oldest playhouse in Wyoming.
During the holidays, the playhouse puts on an original Christmas production, with dinner beforehand. You are treated to a three course meal, served by your personable and talented actors. This is a cowboy’s dinner, so if you’re looking for gourmet or high end dining, you may just want to buy tickets to the show. I would recommend having the full experience.
The show begins at 8:00pm. The play itself is usually a take on a classic Christmas tale, coupled with Christmas songs and possibly some originals too. The play and the original songs are written in part by the actors. You’ll interact with the players, you’ll giggle, you’ll laugh, you’ll have a lovely time. So grab your best Christmas sweater and reserve a night at the playhouse.
