Holidays in Jackson Hole- Holiday Dining

Tis’ the season to eat, drink and be merry! Here is Inn on the Creek’s recommended list of restaurants to satisfy your appetite while spending the holidays in Jackson Hole.

Christmas Eve Dining Suggestions

The Kitchen– This Asian fusion restaurant has great cuisine and atmosphere. Start with a few items off their crudo menu then focus on their delicious entrée items with ingredients sourced from local farms and ranches. Don’t miss their potato chip pie or skillet cookie for dessert- de-lish!

Blue Lion– Our neighbors and one of our favorite places to recommend! Enjoy classic continental cuisine in their intimate dining space. Famous for their rack of lamb, elk tenderloin and delicious fish dishes. Enjoy live dinner music while you dine. Open 5:30pm- 9pm.

Gun Barrel– This tourists’ favorite and iconic staple of Jackson Hole, serves up amazing selections of steaks and game. Known for their western décor and roaring fireplace, come hungry for their large cowboy portions. Open 5pm-9pm.

Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse– Located right on Town Square underneath the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. There cuts of meat are served up a la carte with delicious traditional sides. Lighter Mediterranean-style seafood and vegetarian options are available.

Snake River Brewery– Looking to keep Christmas Eve dinner casual, but do not want to compromise on taste? Well, Snake River Brewery is the place for you! Award winning craft beers and upscale pub-cuisine. Do not miss their wood-fired pizzas and s’mores dessert! Open 11am to 11pm- great late night dining option.

Christmas Day Dining Suggestions

Local American Steakhouse– Located on Town Square with the twinkling lights of the iconic antler arches just out their window, this restaurant focuses on locally sourced ingredients with an eye on quality. Enjoy their special Christmas Dinner with 3 courses for $85/ person.

Gather– Located one block off Town Square and an easy stroll from the Inn, Gather offers great steak, fish and game options.

Rendezvous Bistro– Just a short drive from the Inn, an American Bistro with delicious nightly specials and the only raw bar in Jackson. Sweet Potato Ravioli and Duck Confit are some of the entrée highlights of the seasonally changing menu.

Wild Sage– Located in the Rusty Parrot Hotel which is just around the corner from the Inn.  This fine dining restaurant is taking Christmas dinner to another level. Reservations required for this elegant option with an open kitchen.

The Silver Dollar Grill at the Wort Hotel– 11-4pm Christmas Buffet $48 adult/ $20 for Children. This delicious holiday buffet includes carved offerings of turkey, ham or prime rib. Their seafood offerings are a plenty- king crab legs, prawns, shrimp, smoked salmon and Idaho trout. There will be all the traditional sides and an amazing desserts table!

New Year’s Eve Dining Suggestions

Blue Lion– Offering a four course, $80 a plate dining experience to help ring in the New Year! Look for their traditional favorites, as well as, some new favorites.

Café Genevieve’s– Serving American cuisine with a southern influence, Café Genevieve is one of the best casual dining spots on Town Square. Serving up their traditional menu with some terrific dinner specials.

Trio– Great American style bistro.  Enjoy their $85 per person special New Year’s Eve menu and add the $40 wine pairing. A lively atmosphere adds to the festive experience.

Hayden’s Post– Offers one of the best views of the torchlight parade and firework show at Snow King Mountain. Their chef’s have created a 5 course special New Year’s Eve dinner for $80/ person with two seatings. Reservations are required.
