One of the Jackson Hole, Wyoming activities we look forward to all winter – the Jackson Hole Rendezvous – is quickly approaching.
Music and mountains meet at this celebration of spring in our valley. We might not have blooming flowers quite yet, but we do have lots of good corn snow! Speaking of which, spring skiing is another one of our favorite Jackson Hole, Wyoming activities, with longer days, more sunshine, and warmer temperatures.
During the Jackson Hole Rendezvous festival, you can cap off a great day on the slopes by enjoying free live music while watching the sunset behind the beautiful Teton Range.
This year’s festival will feature three nights of free music. The festivities kick off Thursday, March 27 with a performance by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, a modern day icon of the soul-funk sound. Did we mention it’s free? And best of all, the show is just minutes from Inn on the Creek at Snow King Center. The fun starts at 7:30.
On Friday, March 28, the renowned roots reggae band Steel Pulse will have you dancing in the streets of Teton Village. This Grammy Award-winning band has been touring for more than 35 years. The music kicks off at 3 p.m. Friday, with several local acts opening.
Headlining the Rendezvous is the San Francisco-based musician and philanthropist Michael Franti and his band Spearhead. Known for high energy shows with positive messages, Franti is a popular performer at music festivals nationwide and a repeat visitor to our valley. Michael Franti and Spearhead will play at Teton Village on Saturday, March 29 at 5:30 p.m.
After enjoying all the skiing, dancing, dining, and other fun Jackson Hole, Wyoming activities, return to your home away from home, the Inn on the Creek, for a quiet, peaceful night’s sleep and a soak in one of our signature Jacuzzi fireplace rooms.
