Jackson Hole Winter Activities- Ride the Tram

This ten minute ride takes you from the valley floor at 6,311 feet elevation to 10,450 feet with a vertical rise of 4,139 feet.

Once the aerial tram arrives, you unload on the dock to the impressive mountain scenery of the Grand Tetons to the north, the Gros Ventre Mountain range to the east and the Snake River serpentining through the valley below. Luckily, you do not have to ski Corbet’s Couloir to enjoy the waffles in Corbet’s Cabin.

On clear, sunny days relax on the front deck of Corbet’s Couloir basking in the sun and watching the skiers speed off is a blast! On windy days, you may even see some adventurous souls paraglide from the top of Rendezvous Mountain. Make sure to have your camera ready for this picture-taking haven!

Head on into the cabin to make your own custom waffle creation! The secret to the waffles served at Corbet’s Couloir is in the batter! The batter is prepared in the large chef’s kitchen at the base of the mountain. The batter then rides the 4,000 feet in the tram to Corbet’s Cabin. As the batter rises in elevation, the lack of air pressure creates the airiest, fluffiest waffle batter in the world! Next secret to the success of these delicious waffles are the many toppings to choose from to create your specialty. Ask your friendly waffle artist for their recommended toppings or go it on your own! Nutella, banana, maple-butter, bacon and ham are just of the few heavenly toppings.
