Jackson Hole Summer Wildflowers

We are having a great Jackson Hole summer this year and one of our favorite parts has been the wildflowers!

With an above average snow year, cool spring, and some early summer showers, the flowers have been getting the moisture they need to put on a show! Plus, depending on where you hike and the elevation, you can find wildflowers into August and maybe September!

Check out some of these great flowers we’ve spotted on different hikes throughout the valley!

Mountain Hollyhock is one of the rarer wildflowers we get to see. Look for it in shaded canyon areas!

We are still working on the indentification of this flower but it's quite small and found at much higher elevations- look for it while hiking to some of the alpine lakes in the area.

This leopard lily is so beautiful! They are hard to spot because their flowers face downward. It's a special treat if you find one!
