When on your Jackson Hole summer vacation do what the local’s do and head to the People’s Market. With numerous booths of local produce, goods, prepared foods and tasty beverages, the People’s Market is the perfect way to experience the community of Jackson. The market operates every Wednesday from 4pm-7pm, mid-June thru mid-September at the base of Snow King. The goal of the People’s Market is to ‘build community thru food, art, music and family, while celebrating products produced locally.’
This past Wednesday, Kelly headed down to the Market to get supplies for breakfast at the Inn on the Creek. She started at the Cosmic Apple booth and scooped up some delicious spinach and garlic scapes.
Then headed over to the Lark Meadows Farm booth for some local cheese. After sampling some of the goods, Kelly chose their tasty cows milk cheddar cheese.
Next, she ventured over to the Painted Sage Farm booth and grabbed two plump Wyomatoes, delicious Wyoming greenhouse- grown tomatoes.
Kelly returned to the Inn with her local bounty.
She decided to make quiches with all her goodies, so she got to chopping, shredding and sautéing. We used our standard quiche recipe with homemade piecrust.
And success, a delicious breakfast for our guest with a unique Jackson flare.
Add a trip to the People’s Market to your Jackson Hole Summer Vacation for a delightful evening.
