Trip to the Lawrence Rockefeller Preserve

07.27.12

Casey and I went to the Lawrence Rockefeller Preserve the other day. It is always a great visit and hike to Phelps Lake. We were especially impressed with the beautiful wild flowers and Huckleberries!!! When visiting Jackson Hole, you must put this on your list. If staying with us at Inn on the Creek, we will give you some good tips for enjoying the Preserve. This is an easy hike with stunning lake  and mountain views!

A fun trip to Idaho!

07.19.12

Casey and I had a chance to drive to Victor for lunch the other day. We love to drive over Teton Pass and go to Grumpy’s Goat Shack for a Hot Dog. The drive is spectacular and the hot dogs are great. Ahh, the simple pleasures in life. Of course the trip would not be complete if we didn’t get a Huckleberry milkshake from the Emporium afterwards! I like mine made with vanilla ice cream but I have a friend who loves hers made with chocolate. She says it tastes like chocolate covered huckleberries. Well, however you like it, this trip to Idaho is a must do when visiting Jackson Hole.

A visit to the old Bar B C

07.11.12

Casey and I had the chance to mountain bike down to the old Bar B C dude ranch in Grand Teton National Park. This easy ride is well worth the trip with spectacular views and a nostalgic feeling of what it must have been like to visit in the 1920s and 30′s. If you have the time this is well worth the trip when you are visiting Jackson Hole. If you are staying with us at Inn on the Creek, just ask us for directions!
